Artist’s sculpture work with pupils
Elizabeth Horridge, the artist in residence at Ashford School, showcased a collaborative exhibition with school pupils entitled Deconstruction last week at St Mary’s Parish Church in Tufton Street.
Her work is a sculptural investigation into the human body, with a focus on the use of ordinary materials such as shampoo, talcum powder, tights, Polyfilla, bubble wrap and expanding foam.
Her work was on display alongside a series of paintings created by the school’s current A-level students.
