Woodchurch ease worries with win

Woodchurch moved five points clear of bottom club Tenterden Reserves with a 3-2 home win over Hythe Grovellers in one of two Premier Division games played.
Their third victory of the season takes them to 11 points.
Tenterden Reserves were on the wrong end of the same scoreline, at Folkestone Invicta. In the only Division 1 game to be played, Lenham Wanderers Reserves moved up to second with a 1-0 home win over Lydd Town 3rds.
Lenham are six points behind leaders South Willesborough who were involved in Ashford Charity Trophy action.
Premier Division leaders Smarden held sway in the first round tie, getting the better of South Willesborough 4-2.
The only other game to be played was the League Cup, Group B match, which saw Premier Division Charing defeat Division 1 Towersview 7-2.
