In the garden

Kentish Gazette Canterbury & District - East Kent Property - - HOMESNEWS -

The south facing garden was a blank canvas when the owners moved in. There are now raised beds and box hedging.

Vendor Julia Gavriel recalls: “We enjoy gardening but have very little time so we designed the garden to be a low maintenance kitchen garden that is kept under control with an hour or so a week in the summer.

“We planted espalier apple and pear trees against the wall in addition to plum, cherry, fig and mulberry trees.

“The paved areas are spacious enough for a large table. When we first moved in the garden felt very barren, but now that the garden has matured we enjoy the birds that visit as well as the produce.”
