Two homes to go under the hammer
A two-bedroom semi-detached city house with garage in Canterbury is to go under the hammer.
The property at Edward Road, is close to Canterbury Christ Church University campus and has a guide price of £200,000 to £210,000.
Kevin Gilbert, auctioneer for Clive Emson, said: “The property requires improvement and when enhanced may be suitable for owner-occupation, investment or perhaps student accommodation. It has a courtyard garden and garage.”
On the other side of Canterbury at Chartham there’s a property in Shalmsford Street that is also being sold on the instructions of executors.
The detached two-storey house, which has not been occupied for many years, is in need of improvement and refurbishment and has four bedrooms and a guide price of £240,000 to £250,000.
It has gardens with views over farmland and there is the potential for off-road parking subject to all necessary consents being obtainable.
Both lots will be up for sale on Tuesday, July 26, at the Clive Emson Conference Centre in Detling, near Maidstone, beginning at 11am.
