Eco-friendly homes proving popular
The final phase of homes is now on offer at The Bridge, Taylor Wimpey’s development in Dartford.
Following the success of previous phases at The Bridge, the housebuilder has just released a fresh collection of two, three and four-bedroom houses and one and twobedroom apartments.
This phase includes a selection of contemporary eco homes.
These properties have been specially-designed using environmentally-friendly materials and techniques, including triple glazing,100% low-energy lighting, smart gas meters, upgraded insulation and renewable energy PV panels.
Jason Stokes, of Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re delighted to be opening up even more opportunities for people to own a new home at The Bridge.
“We’re especially excited to be offering a superb choice of eco-friendly properties, which are already proving popular with buyers who want an incredibly energy-efficient home for a great-value price.”
Part of the ongoing Thames Gateway regeneration, the development is on the edge of Dartford and has views across the River Thames to Essex.
Public transport from The Bridge includes Fastrack buses to Dartford, Greenhithe, Gravesend and Ebbsfleet International railway stations, which all offer regular services to London Bridge and Victoria, while the High Speed 1 rail link connects Ebbsfleet with frequent 18-minute trains to London St Pancras.
Prices start at £181,500 for a one-bedroom ground floor apartment with parking space.
