Plots with potential up for auction
A house and land with planning permission at Iwade, near Sittingbourne, is to go under the hammer at auction.
The three-bedroom house is currently let at £10,800 per year. Next to the house is a plot of land with permission for an attached two-bedroom dwelling.
The freehold lot is being offered with a guide price of £300,000 to £310,000.
A spokesman for auctioneer Clive Emson, said: “This lot will certainly attract investors and developers.”
Another lot at the sale is a development opportunity in Gillingham. The site at Pier Road has two alternative planning consents.
One is for eight semidetached houses and the other is for a parade of nine terraced houses.
Formerly the site was home to a pub called Bar Intermission. Guide price is £750,000 to £780,000.
The spokesman said: “This is an excellent opportunity and the site is close to the university campuses, halls of residence and the Chatham Waters Development.”
