Plots with po­ten­tial up for auc­tion

A house and land with plan­ning per­mis­sion at Iwade, near Sit­ting­bourne, is to go un­der the ham­mer at auc­tion.

The three-bed­room house is cur­rently let at £10,800 per year. Next to the house is a plot of land with per­mis­sion for an at­tached two-bed­room dwelling.

The free­hold lot is be­ing of­fered with a guide price of £300,000 to £310,000.

A spokesman for auc­tion­eer Clive Em­son, said: “This lot will cer­tainly at­tract in­vestors and de­vel­op­ers.”

An­other lot at the sale is a de­vel­op­ment op­por­tu­nity in Gilling­ham. The site at Pier Road has two al­ter­na­tive plan­ning con­sents.

One is for eight semide­tached houses and the other is for a pa­rade of nine ter­raced houses.

For­merly the site was home to a pub called Bar In­ter­mis­sion. Guide price is £750,000 to £780,000.

The spokesman said: “This is an ex­cel­lent op­por­tu­nity and the site is close to the univer­sity cam­puses, halls of res­i­dence and the Chatham Waters De­vel­op­ment.”
