Substantial former pub with potential
The former Crown and Anchor in Faversham is up for auction.
The former pub in The Mall is sure to attract bidders who can see potential for the substantial building. Subject to all necessary consents being obtainable, it could be turned into flats and possibly extended into the garden.
The property is among 138 lots listed for sale on Monday, July 24, by auctioneer Clive Emson.
Kevin Gilbert, auctioneer, said: “Many people will know the building that is a substantial one on The Mall.
“Clearly there are likely to be builders and developers interested in the lot, which has a guide price of £275,000 to £300,000.
“It is a three-storey building with a garden at the back and on the upper floors are five bedrooms.”
The auction is at the Clive Emson conference centre, at the Kent Showground, Detling, beginning at 11am.
