food fest’s ex­tra day

With an ex­tra day this year, from satur­day, au­gust 26 to bank hol­i­day mon­day, the we Love hythe Life food fes­ti­val prom­ises to be an even big­ger cel­e­bra­tion of kent pro­duce at hythe Cricket Club, from 11am all three days.

The fes­ti­val cel­e­brates the county’s food scene while also play­ing host to a mix of bands and solo artists play­ing live through­out the week­end.

There will be stalls show­cas­ing the best of kent’s ar­ti­san food and drink pro­duc­ers, a be­spoke house ale ex­clu­sively pro­duced for the fes­ti­val by lo­cal brew­ery, range ales.

There will be a fes­ti­val kitchen with in­tro­duc­tions to beekeeping and cock­tail mixol­ogy ses­sions, and a chil­dren’s en­ter­tain­ment area with play and craft zones, plus a Cake off.

There will be des­ig­nated park­ing at nearby hythe green, with dis­abled park­ing at the club it­self.

The free event is or­gan­ised by hythe Life mag­a­zine, staffed by vol­un­teers.
