Get in a delicious stew

Kentish Gazette Canterbury & District - What's On - - FRONT PAGE -

Kent-based firm Stewtopia, made up of husband and wife duo Barrie and Denise Page, will be selling a range of stews including a classic British one, something a little more exotic, something spicy and something vegetarian in Gravesend from next week. The pair, both from Maidstone, are joining the Gravesend Borough Market from Tuesday, September 5.

Stewtopia use contemporary and innovative cooking methods to create a diverse menu with ingredients in season and serve their meals in compostable packaging with compostable cutlery. Stewtopia also offers large or smaller portions, priced around £5 and £4.

Market manager Jackie Bowles said: “This will be a great addition to the market and we can’t wait for them to come in and offer something which we haven’t yet got. On a cold day these stews will be the perfect way to keep warm.”
