EQUIPPED TO HELP OUT
An exhibition of equipment for disabled people comes to Kent for the first time next week. Rise4disability aims to attract more than 1,000 visitors when it takes place at the Kent Showground on Thursday, September 7.
More than 100 companies will show off the latest tools and gadgets designed for people with disabilities and health professionals.
They will also give advice and highlight the different services. The day will also include a conference, speed-sourcing workshops, a skills showcase and an ability theatre.
The free event is hosted by Made2aid, a company that helps disabled people source the right equipment, advice and services.
