Gok Wan’s Naked and Bar­ing All, which comes to Dart­ford’s Or­chard The­atre next week, is the first time the fash­ion guru, TV pre­sen­ter and au­thor has gone on stage to talk about his life.

Af­ter first ap­pear­ing on our TV screens in 2006, Gok’s TV ca­reer has in­cluded reg­u­lar slots on ITV’S This Morn­ing and shows in­clud­ing Gok’s Lunch­box on ITV, Gok’s Fash­ion Fix on Chan­nel 4 and Get the Look For Less. He’s also filmed a doc­u­men­tary on child obe­sity Too Fat Too Young and ex­plored the mod­ern-day is­sues teenagers face in­clud­ing sex­u­al­ity, on­line bul­ly­ing and eating dis­or­ders in the se­ries Gok’s Teens: The Naked Truth. The stage show takes his au­di­ence through his hum­ble be­gin­nings on a Le­ices­ter coun­cil es­tate, to re­veal­ing things he has not yet dared to bare be­fore.
