250 ex­hibitors at the Mid­win­ter Fair

With more than 250 hand­picked ex­hibitors spread through­out a heated tented vil­lage, one of the South East’s largest Christ­mas shop­ping events comes to the Hop Farm next week.

The Wealden Times Mid­win­ter Fair will be at the Pad­dock Wood site from Thurs­day, Novem­ber 16 to Satur­day, Novem­ber 18. Vis­i­tors can browse lux­ury gifts, Christ­mas dec­o­ra­tions, vin­tage and con­tem­po­rary home­wares, bou­tique fash­ion and jew­ellery plus a mouth­wa­ter­ing se­lec­tion of chut­neys, cheeses and oils. There will be six re­tail mar­quees as well as the pop­u­lar street food cafe. New for this year, the cafe bar will show­case a range of in­de­pen­dent drinks com­pa­nies sell­ing lo­cally pro­duced still and sparkling wine, beer, gin and more while the cafe bak­ery will have barista cof­fee, spe­cial­ity teas and cakes, amid twin­kling lights, fir trees and carol-singers. The fair is open be­tween 9am and 5pm.

Tick­ets in ad­vance cost £9 and £10 on the gate. Af­ter­noon tick­ets be­tween 2pm and 5pm, cost £5 for adults.
