Willy Russell’s heart-warming comedy Shirley Valentine is as loved today as it was in 1986 when it premiered.
In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the first major revival of the show, which also became a film starring Pauline Collins, is stopping off in Kent.
Glen Walford, director of the original production, directs this major revival. The show stars Nicky Swift as Shirley, who has taken over the role from Jodie Prenger. Her stage credits include Footloose and Les Miserables. Shirley Valentine runs at the Orchard Theatre in Dartford until Saturday, November 11.
