What a feeling!
More than 13 million people tuned in to see Joanne Clifton and her partner Ore Oduba lift the Strictly glitterball trophy last December.
Now she’s playing Alex, the steel welder-cum-nightclub dancer, in Flashdance The Musical, which is about to make its second stop in the county.
It features top flight choreography and well known tracks including Maniac and Flashdance – What a Feeling. Based on the 1980s film, its story is about the power of holding onto your dreams and love against all odds. It will be at the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells from Monday, November 13 to Saturday, November 18. To book visit assemblyhalltheatre.co.uk or call 01892 530613.
It heads to the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, next year from Monday, June 18 to Saturday, June 23. Go to marlowetheatre.com or call 01227 787787.
