The Ald­ing­ton Races have been

pro­vid­ing an adrenalin-fu­elled fun day out for the fam­ily for al­most 60 years. Sur­rounded by coun­try­side, the Point-to-point area has spec­tac­u­lar views of the whole course. On Easter Mon­day, there’s a whole day of fun with lo­cal jock­eys and point-to-point train­ers at the course be­tween Ash­ford and Hythe. The day fea­tures plenty of Pointto- Point races, but fam­ily friendly events through­out the day in­clude ter­rier rac­ing, bale throw­ing, tug o’war, fal­conry dis­plays and a funfair with in­flat­a­bles. There will also be a beer tent, food and drink stalls and arts and crafts stalls. Head to the course at Church Lane, Ald­ing­ton. Tick­ets cost £15, and un­der 14s are free.
