Me­dieval Joust­ing re­turns to Leeds Cas­tle on the late May Bank Hol­i­day Week­end with mighty clashes and thrilling en­ter tain­ment for all ages at the Grand Me­dieval Joust. New for 2018, watch Eng­land com­pete against France in four new com­pe­ti­tions. See the squires arm the English and French knights in full plate ar­mour, be­fore they bat­tle it out to be­come vic tors in foot com­bat, skill-at-arms, melee and joust­ing chal­lenges. Gather around the Com­bat Arena for ex­cit­ing en­ter tain­ment with com­bat, archer y and fire­power dis­plays or take a step back in time to the mid­dle mges with a pro­gramme of themed ac tiv­i­ties for all ages through­out the week­end rang­ing from Chil­dren’s Mini Bat­tles, Have a Go Archer y and liv­ing his­tor y re enac tment camps.

The Grand Me­dieval Joust is in­cluded in the price of ad­mis­sion to Leeds Cas­tle.

Leeds Cas­tle in Kent has plenty to of­fer fam­i­lies to brighten your days out as sum­mer ar­rives. From wildlife and park­land walks, cafés, two gif t shops and Elsie the Cas­tle Train there is some­thing for all ages tak­ing place at Leeds Cas­tle.
