There’s plenty of vintage vava-voom at War and Peace

It’sts been some­thing of a mil­i­tary op­er­a­tion just to get all its ex­hibits on site. War and Peace Re­vival is back at the Hop Farm for its 2018 op­er­a­tion.

Ev­ery­thing from he­li­copters and tanks to jeeps and com­mer­cial ve­hi­cles have as­sem­bled for vis­i­tors’ in­spec­tion with ve­hi­cle dis­plays, bat­tle re-en­act­ments, liv­ing his­tory dis­plays and an all-new tac­ti­cal training area con­ducted by EX-SAS Phil Cam­pion on the sched­ule.

The show isn’t just about the front­line - vis­i­tors can ex­pe­ri­ence what life was like for those left at home dur­ing the con­flicts as their fam­ily mem­bers fought over seas. There will be a whole area ded­i­cated to the peace el­e­ment of the ef­forts on the Home Front. The show also of­fers even­ing en­ter­tain­ment, with per­for­mances from Jackson Sloan and the Rhythm­tones on Fri­day, July 27, and Alex Mend­ham and his orches­tra at the gala din­ner along with a dance com­pe­ti­tion hosted by Gypsy John and Karen on Satur­day, July 28.

The re­vival runs at the Hop Farm in Bel­tring, near Pad­dock Wood, un­til Satur­day 28 July, with gates open­ing from 9am each day.
