There’s plenty of vintage vava-voom at War and Peace
It’sts been something of a military operation just to get all its exhibits on site. War and Peace Revival is back at the Hop Farm for its 2018 operation.
Everything from helicopters and tanks to jeeps and commercial vehicles have assembled for visitors’ inspection with vehicle displays, battle re-enactments, living history displays and an all-new tactical training area conducted by EX-SAS Phil Campion on the schedule.
The show isn’t just about the frontline - visitors can experience what life was like for those left at home during the conflicts as their family members fought over seas. There will be a whole area dedicated to the peace element of the efforts on the Home Front. The show also offers evening entertainment, with performances from Jackson Sloan and the Rhythmtones on Friday, July 27, and Alex Mendham and his orchestra at the gala dinner along with a dance competition hosted by Gypsy John and Karen on Saturday, July 28.
The revival runs at the Hop Farm in Beltring, near Paddock Wood, until Saturday 28 July, with gates opening from 9am each day.
