BITTEN BY THE STEAM BUG
Organiser Bill Giles was bitten by the steam bug as a child, when his father recovered a Burrell 2386 and restored her.
Today, he stages the rally as a testament to the people who save the steam machines from scrap and preserve them.
It is designed as a traditional gathering and exhibition of steam, and is the largest gathering of its kind in Kent.
