Assault claim leads to arrest

A man was found with a serious leg injury after an alleged assault in Canterbury.

Police were called to Starle Close, off Sturry Road, at about 8.15pm on Sunday night.

Four people were arrested in connection with the incident.

Two men, aged 21 and 26, and a 19-year-old woman, all from Canterbury, were later released without charge.

A 21-year-old man arrested on Monday night has been bailed until June 26 while inquiries continue. The victim, a man in his 20s from London, was treated in hospital.
