Soul comes from the heart

Soul legend Jocelyn Brown will be filling the Marlowe Theatre with her power vocals and ballads on Wednesday, September 7.

She began singing at the aged of three in church and first gained national attention with the release of her debut album, One From The Heart, in 1984, which included hits like Love’s Gonna Get You and the perennial club classic Somebody Else’s Guy.

Jocelyn has worked with Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Bette Midler, John Lennon, Quincy Jones, Roberta Flack and George Benson.

The concert starts at 7.30pm, tickets are from £20 to £31.50.
