Woman injured stopping fight

A woman suffered serious hip injuries after she attempted to break up a fight in Canterbury.

It is alleged she was assaulted by one of two men involved in the High Street altercation between 3am and 3.30am on Saturday.

A 20-year-old man from Cardiff was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on police bail until March 24.

Another man, aged 23, was arrested at the scene and later released without charge.
