Drunk driver’s three-year ban

Drink driver Ashley Ovenden has been banned from the road for three years.

The 29-year-old, of Bell Grove, Aylesham, was stopped by police in Coldharbour Lane, Canterbury, on March 15. Tests revealed he had 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of his breath. The legal limit is 35.

He admitted the offence and was given a £500 fine on top of his disqualification.
