Canterbury City had two teams in action at the latest Kent Disability League tournament. Their 1sts started with a 0-0 draw against Charlton Athletic before going down 1-0 to Milton & Fulston Spiders. Nathan Russell and Liam Wickham fired City to a 2-0 win over Folkestone Invicta but they were beaten 1-0 by Maidstone United. Back-to-back games followed and Canterbury drew 0-0 with Spiders before going down 2-0 to Maidstone. Team: Chris Wright, Liam Wickham, Matt Roberts, Kieron Edwards, Nathan Russell, Connor Gilbert. City’s second team fared better, winning two of their matches and drawing the other. Two goals each for Cameron Lemare and David Martyn earned them a 4-0 victory over Charlton Upbeats in their first outing. Lemare netted again as City saw off Milton & Fulston Spiders 1-0 before a goalless draw followed against Swanscombe Tigers.
