Three chances to hear Will
When his last band, Electric River, broke up in 2015, Kent’s Will Whisson gave up everything to pursue a solo career.
He sold most of his possessions, quit his job and swapped his home for a campervan. After spending summer last year in Belgium, Will busked his way around Europe, managing to secure regular gigs.
He released a debut EP, produced by Brett Shaw, who has worked with Florence and the Machine. Will rode a bike 450 miles from Kent to Northumbria, raising £2,000 for Cancer Research, as part of the video for his EP Nowhere Bound.
He heads to the Bench in Ramsgate on Sunday, the Rock Lodge in Oxford Street, Whitstable, on Thursday, November 30, and the Penny Theatre in Canterbury on Friday, December 1. For details and to listen to Will’s EP, visit willwhisson.com.
