TYPICALLY METALLIC RETURN FROM SISTER SIN’S ALL-ACTION FRONTWOMAN

Kerrang! (UK) - - Reviews - JAMES MACKINNON

‘YOU ARE doomed to a lifetime of sin,’ snarls Liv Jagrell on I’myour Sin. It’s not a prospect that scares us, providing the soundtrack to it carries on being this good. Follow Me is metal. Metal at its purest – weighty, toned and smelling very slightly of bikes and leather. In fact, this debut album from the former Sister Sin vocalist’s new band is so similar to what she’s done previously that you wonder why she felt the need to start over.that band’s faults – a reluctance to deviate from established metal blueprints – is still evident here. But when you’ve got hellraisers like Let Me Out, and a bounding, note-shredding chanteuse doing the bossing, you remember the original plan wasn’t so bad after all. DOWNLOAD: Emperor Of Chaos. FOR FANS OF: Battle Beast, Doro.
