INTEGRITY

HOWLING, FOR THE NIGHTMARE SHALL CONSUME (RELAPSE) CLEVELAND METALCORE LEGENDS ROAR BACK INTO ACTION. PACK A NIGHT LIGHT

Kerrang! (UK) - - REVIEWS - ALISTAIR LAWRENCE

■ AS THE title almost tries to warn you, listening to this before bed is a good way to ensure you wake up screaming a few hours later. Integrity have been melding death metal and hardcore punk together for nearly 30 years and frontman/force of nature Dwid Hellion sounds as disappointed with the human race now as when he started. Howling… is full of venom, inspired by history and politics to create a dense mix of buzzsaw riffs and eerie atmospherics. there are also some surprises: the soaring String Up My Teeth manages to channel Dwid’s unlikely affection for ’80s cock-rock, the revival of which by a lesser band would be a recipe for more bad dreams. DOWNLOAD: I Am The Spell. FOR FANS OF: Converge, Hatebreed.
