LONDON EXPERIMENTAL ROCK MOB UNLEASH DIVINE DIGITAL-ONLY EP

■ DOWN I Go may be the best band you’ve never heard of. Formed in 2005, they made records about dinosaurs (This Is Dinocore), natural disasters (This Is Disastercore) and robots (you’ve guessed it…), before scattering across multiple continents, seemingly inactive.three years later came Kickstarter-funded albumyou’re Lucky God,that I Cannot Reach You, recorded in Iceland and based around the country’s folklore. Needless to say, they’re never boring. Nor are these four tracks, a sort-of sequel to 2011 EP Gods, which take their titles and inspiration from figures in Greek mythology. Of course, this means naff all if the tunes aren’t up to snuff, so it’s a good thing they’re all torrents of melody and malice, governed by mathematical time changes and guitars you could defend a village with. DOWNLOAD: Palaemon. FOR FANS OF: Sikth, Press to MECO.
