CLAPHAM RIFFERS SHOW THEY’VE GOT THE HUMP FOR TRUMP ON NEW EP

■ SINCE PUPPET Kings’ dawning in 2012, the Clapham three-piece have gained themselves some heavy momentum, having supported the likes of Skindred, Black Peaks and HECK.YET they’re still dissatisfied. Fuelled by frustration, their new four-track EP gushes like an open journal and throbs like an open wound. For instance, glazed in a metallic hard rock lacquer, Rich N’ White discusses political injustice. It begins with Donald Trump honking on about his plan to build a wall, followed by frontman Tom Cochrane bitterly intoning. ‘When I was young, I learned to share / But now I’ve grown up, I wouldn’t dare.’ And one in the eye for Trump is definitely worth your time. DOWNLOAD: Rich N’ White. FOR FANS OF: Metallica, Foo Fighters.
