REFLECTION IS HEALTHY…

“It’s nice to look back, because art redefines itself in its own context. So it’s cool to play those old songs, to see what The Taste Of Ink means to me now, in that forum of freedom and expression. Those snapshots of emotion, captured in those times are still so relevant and important in 2017. It captures a moment of youth that still exists in all of us.”

…BUT DON’T OBSESS ABOUT THE PAST

“Living in the moment is key, for those familiar with Alan Watts and the philosophical concept of ‘the future’. Now is only now, and that’s it. Even my worst tattoos I’m fine with these days, like the stick man on my side. I feel like it’s just evidence of me, that I was here. Embrace all the shitty things, because those are the moments that teach us the most.”

YOU’LL FIND YOUR WAY

“I’ve struggled to find my path in the past. I think that’s natural. But in the past year I’ve learned that I’m capable of finding paths I didn’t know existed, for myself and others. People tell me things they don’t tell their best friends.to lose myself in other people’s problems makes me a vessel: fill me with your negativity and I’ll deal with it in my own way.”
