said for the open­ing band, Chicks On Speed, who con­sisted of two mem­bers singing along to ’90s house beats through head­set mics, along with a dude play­ing elec­tric vi­o­lin. They ac­tu­ally got booed off­stage – which was su­per-mean be­cause they were hav­ing a nice time – so [RHCP gui­tarist] John Fr­us­ciante came out and told the crowd off.

“Also, a man wear­ing noth­ing but a tutu and flip-flops started a fight with my dad be­cause he thought he’d thrown a bot­tle of piss at his girl­friend. He did not.”
