Cast off knitwise, leaving a yarn tail.

When stitching your work together, keep the ‘wrong’ side of the fabric facing out as this will create the woven effect shown here, rather than a solid stripe.

Using the yarn tail, stitch together the two short ends of the bangle to make a tube. Insert the bangle and fold over both long sides so that they meet in the middle on the outside of the bangle. Use a new length of yarn to join the two long sides of the fabric with mattress stitch.

Weave in ends and turn seam to the inside of the bangle. If desired, you can use a few dabs of superglue to hold the knitting in place by inserting the nozzle through the holes in the fabric and applying a tiny amount.
