Small di­a­mond mo­bile 1 First cut 3cm x 52cm (1¹∕ lengths of wire. 2 Us­ing 4mm dou­ble-pointed nee­dles and hold­ing yarn C and D to­gether, cast on 4 sts. 3 Us­ing i-cord method (see the tu­to­rial on page 31) and work­ing around the wire, knit un­til the work mea­sures 48cm (18¾in) leav­ing 2cm (¾in) of wire each side of knit­ting. 4 Fold the knit­ting cov­ered wire to make a square shape (12cm or 4¾in be­tween each fold), us­ing the ex­tra 2cm (¾in) of wire to join the square to­gether. 5 Stitch cast off edge to cast on edge. 6 Make two more squares. 7 Cre­ate a di­a­mond shape by wrap­ping long lengths of yarn C and D to­gether to hold the shape in place.
