“Where Green Adventure Tours is different is that I encourage owners of newer, shinier Land Rovers to see what their four-wheel drive vehicles are capable of without causing any damage to themselves, their vehicles or the environment.

“The forest tracks are perfect as they are too difficult for ordinary cars to negotiate, so you need that 4x4 capability to drive them. They are ideal for owners of Range Rovers and Discoverys who have often wondered what the Terrain Response settings are for, but never had the chance to use them. But at the same time they won’t scratch their paintwork. And, of course, at the end of every trip there is a dining experience to remember.

“It’s all about responsibility and sharing the countryside. Sometimes you meet people out in the woods and you can see they aren’t thrilled to see 4x4s out there. When that happens, I like to pull up and engage in conversation with them, explaining what we are trying to achieve. Once they understand, they end up on our side.”
