Draper’s powerful 250A (cranking) unit weighs just 464 g and is packed with useful features that are easy to master and include blue LEDS for clarity. Power is via a lithium cobalt battery. Three switchable output voltages make it versatile for charging a range of personal gadgets. The smart jump leads detect a correct connection via an LED pilot light and carry weatherproof instructions. It successfully started a 2.5d engine with a sluggish, but not flat battery. The working light is powerful but isn’t suited to aim at the booster cables in use.
