Variety is the spice of life

PLEASE tell Gary that we enjoyed the article on the pair of Stage 1 88s in the last issue. In fact, all his articles were great. It is good to see a section in the magazine dedicated to classic Land Rovers, and in my view your description as to what makes a classic is spot on.

I’m more than a little jealous of his writing skills I really enjoyed the article and from my perspective a load of memories are now captured in print.

Then his column about our dependency on China was spot on, I wholly agree that on too many occasions sound rationale and common sense are being overtaken by political statements and gestures.

LRM as a magazine is hitting that sweet spot, the right balance between new and classic, technical and how-to, travel and adventure. The format of last month’s magazine works very well.
