Af­ter a tour by head gar­dener Rachel Pem­ber­ton and gar­dener Su­san Mur­ray, guests will depart for lunch to a lo­cal eatery. www.peren­nial.org.uk Ed­war­dian Life Hever Cas­tle and Gar­dens, Hever, Kent 26 May-3 June Travel back in time to the early 20th cen­tury and take a glimpse into the Ed­war­dian era. The beau­ti­ful grounds of this his­toric cas­tle will bring the ‘up­stairs down­stairs’ years to life, with fair­ground games and cos­tumed char­ac­ters dressed in the tra­di­tional gar­ments of the pe­riod. Prizes will be awarded on the day for the best-dressed Ed­war­dian boy and girl. www.hev­er­cas­tle.co.uk Ram­sey Is­land Guided Walks Ram­sey Is­land, Pem­brokeshire 31 May-28 June A res­i­dent RSPB war­den will be the guide for a walk round one of the most breath­tak­ing re­serves in Wales. Spe­cial em­pha­sis will be placed on seabirds and the Manx shear­wa­ter, one of Pem­brokeshire’s most im­por­tant but least known birds, and there will be an op­por­tu­nity to learn how Ram­sey’s his­tory has shaped their pop­u­la­tions.
