Wag's corner

A touch of glamour

KEVIN-PRINCE Boateng is a footballing enigma. During the Brazil World Cup – hours before Ghana’s group match against Portugal – he was sent home for apparently launching a verbal tirade at Black Stars boss James Kwesi Appiah. He later slagged the set-up off as ‘amateurish’. The Schalke midfielder, 27, has since been left out of their African Cup of Nations squad.

The former Spurs, Portsmouth and AC Milan man has, however, hit the headlines for more commendable reasons. In January 2013 he walked off the pitch after being racially abused in a friendly by the fans of Pro Patria.

It seems Boateng’s actual football is the last thing anyone talks about.

In 2012 his knock-out girlfriend Melissa Satta, 28, told he’s always injured because they have sex 7-10 times a week. Gulp.
