Concord Community Cinema
The Classic Film Club’s new season begins with Hitchcock’s ‘To Catch A Thief’ (1955) with Cary Grant and Grace Kelly at 7.30pm on Friday, February 17, in the Concord Community Centre. Guest tickets are £3. Alternatives cafe before and after the show. Membership for the new season of five classic films for February-June is available at £10.
Balloch Accordion and Fiddle Club
The February club night will take place on Sunday, February 19, in St Kessogs Hall, Balloch, at 7.30pm. Guest artists will be The Paul Capaldi Duo. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available at the interval plus a bar and raffle. Players and non-players are welcome.
On Sunday, February 19, there will be a market day at Loch Lomond Shores with local produce from the Farmers Market, Artisan Craft Market, food and drink plus live music from noon to 4pm. The market is open from 10am.
Friday lunches have resumed in St Augustine’s Community Hall in Dumbarton from noon until 1pm.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 25, from 4pm to 5.30pm at Riverside Parish Church, Dumbarton. The theme this time is ancient Egyptians. Children of all ages are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Activities will include crafts, games, cake decorating and painting. It finishes with sharing food, a story and some singing.

Age Concern Vale of Leven
A concert will be held on Wednesday, February 22, in Alexandria Leisure Centre at 1pm. New members are welcome.
The Vale of Leven Townswomen’s Guild are holding an evening of music with Brats and Callets (members of the City of Glasgow Chorus). It is in aid of local charities and will be held in Alexandria Parish Church on March 11 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 and include a light supper after the concert.
