Adult class­esin var­i­ous sports

West Dun­bar­ton­shire Sports De­vel­op­ment now have adult classes up and run­ning in a bid to get more peo­ple in­ter­ested in sport.

The team will be hold­ing classes at the Meadow Cen­tre in Dum­bar­ton, in­clud­ing sports such as bad­minton, net­ball, foot­ball and swimming.

Bad­minton classes take place ev­ery Wed­nes­day from 6-7pm. Net­ball will also be run­ning in the Meadow Cen­tre on Wed­nes­days, 7pm8pm.

The Sports De­vel­op­ment adult pro­gramme also in­cludes ladies’ foot­ball, walk­ing foot­ball, swimming and Jog Scot­land.

There is no need to book the classes, just turn up on the night.

Walk­ing foot­ball, which is aimed at over 55s, is at Our Lady and St Patrick’s High on Mon­days, 6pm-7pm.

Walk­ing foot­ball for adults with learn­ing dis­abil­i­ties is held in the Alexan­dria CE Cen­tre ev­ery Tues­day, 3pm4pm.

On the foot­ball pro­gramme there is the Mid­night League for young peo­ple aged 12 to 19. The pro­gramme runs at two venues across West Dun­bar­ton­shire on Fri­days, 8pm-10pm.

The venues are Ar­gyle Park in Alexan­dria and Cly­de­bank High School and there is no need to book.
