Adult classesin various sports
West Dunbartonshire Sports Development now have adult classes up and running in a bid to get more people interested in sport.
The team will be holding classes at the Meadow Centre in Dumbarton, including sports such as badminton, netball, football and swimming.
Badminton classes take place every Wednesday from 6-7pm. Netball will also be running in the Meadow Centre on Wednesdays, 7pm8pm.
The Sports Development adult programme also includes ladies’ football, walking football, swimming and Jog Scotland.
There is no need to book the classes, just turn up on the night.
Walking football, which is aimed at over 55s, is at Our Lady and St Patrick’s High on Mondays, 6pm-7pm.
Walking football for adults with learning disabilities is held in the Alexandria CE Centre every Tuesday, 3pm4pm.
On the football programme there is the Midnight League for young people aged 12 to 19. The programme runs at two venues across West Dunbartonshire on Fridays, 8pm-10pm.
The venues are Argyle Park in Alexandria and Clydebank High School and there is no need to book.
