Body found by walkers at loch
A 65-year-old man was found dead by walkers at Loch Lomond.
Emergency services were called to the scene on theWest Highland Way last week.
Police, Loch Lomond Rescue Boat and the ambulance service were all scrambled to the scene, which was two miles south of Ardlui.
A police spokeswoman said: “Around 11.50am on Monday, September 4, police were called to a report of the body of a 65-yearold man discovered on the footpath on theWest Highland Way, north of Inversnaid.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
The Loch Lomond Rescue Boat said on Facebook: “The thoughts of all LLRB crew and committee are with the family of the deceased.”
