Lennox Herald - - NEWS -

Three kind-hearted Balloch youngsters have raised over £250 for an animal charity after rallying their neighbours.

Eight-year-olds Annabelle and Maddison Stewart and next door neighbour Michael Higgins hosted a bake sale and a raffle in their street, Drumkinnon Gate, in aid of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) recently.

The girls’ mum Anne told the Lennox Herald: “They raised a fantastic £261 - with help from friend Jenny Kerr.

“They decided they wanted to help endangered animals and organised everything themselves - I am very proud of them. Thanks to neighbours, friends and family who supported the event, in the front garden, which was a sell-out.”
