Threatsin doctor’s surgery
A Helensburgh man lost his temper in a doctor’s surgery because there were no appointments.
Dale Montague, of Athole Street, repeatedly demanded to see a doctor during the incident at Helensburgh Medical Centre, East King Street, on April 25.
The 30-year-old appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last week and admitted behaving in a threatening manner by shouting, swearing, uttering threats of violence and placing two staff members and members of the public in a state of fear and alarm.
He also admitted refusing to leave when staff advised him there were no appointments and repeatedly banging on a door in the surgery and entering a consulting room without permission.
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry deferred the case until October 27 for a social work report and for a restriction of liberty assessment to be carried out.
