Lennox Herald - - THE TICKET - Linzi Watson

A charity coffee morning in St Augustine’s Episcopal church has been rescheduled until later this month.

The Song and a Scone event, which was set to take place this Saturday (November 4) will now be held on November 15.

Organised by All Sorts Choir, the charity event hopes to raise funds for Calman Cancer Care Support in Gartnavel Hospital.

Those who go along will have the chance to enjoy tea and coffee with a scone while members of the popular Dumbarton choir entertain with a variety of songs.

Entry is £3, with all proceeds being donated to the charity.

The event will be held in St Augustine’s church from 10am until 1pm.

Ghislaine Kennedy, who helped organise the event, said:“It will be a great day and we are hoping people will come along and enjoy listening to some songs from us at the choir and enjoy a cuppa and a scone.”
