In Argyll and Bute meanwhile, Helensburgh’s Hermitage Academy was ranked 51st after recording a two percent rise in figures with 47 percent of pupils now leave the school having hit the five higher target.
Nationwide Glasgow’s Jordanhill School topped the rankings for the fifth year in a row, with 88 percent of pupils leaving with at least five highers.
Mearns Castle High School in East Renfrewshire and Dunblane High in Stirling completed the top three positions, with 75 percent and 74 percent of pupils on target.
