Experience the drama, passion and excitement as a cast of talented actors and musicians tell Buddy Holly’s story, from his meteoric rise to fame, to his final legendary performance at The Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa. Featuring two terrific hours of great songs, including That’ll Be The Day, Oh Boy, Rave On, La Bamba, Chantilly Lace, Johnny B Goode, Raining In My Heart, Everyday, Shout and many more, this show is just Peggy Sue-perb! Over 30 years, the Solid Silver 60s Show has entertained the nation and celebrated history’s most successful decade of music. The Solid Silver 60s Show is the UK’s original 1960s show, bringing classic hits performed by the original hit makers to King’s Lynn Corn Exchange on Tuesday, May 9. Back live are The Merseybeats, Dave Berry, Wayne Fontana and Vanity Fair along with special guest Chris Montez. X Factor winner Sam Bailey has announced an exciting line-up of special guests for her show at the Corn Exchange on Friday, May 12. Acclaimed singer/songwriter Nikki Loy will be opening for Sam, who over the past few months has been running competitions to search for local talent to support her on her tour by inviting singers in each area to apply to be her special guest for one night. Lucia Nicole was selected by Sam to perform at King’s Lynn Corn Exchange. The following evening, at 7.30pm sees the sing-a-long Dirty Dancing, while there is a sea-change on Sunday, May 1 when historian David Starkey is at the Corn Exchange at 7.30pm.
