My dad was captain of that boat

Let's Talk - - POSTBAG - Mr R FROST Felixstowe, Suffolk

I refer to the picture ( July, Suffolk edition) on page 76. I was on that boat as my dad was the captain from the 1950s to 1963.

She went on to the south-west area and was seen there before she was broken up. I was on her from 1950s to 1962. I was a boy then and in 1959 as I got older, I took the wheel. I went on her from the age of six to 14, as I helped my dad after school, during holidays and at weekends.

I had a very good time. I did like the boats and I remember her well.

I would also like to thank Charlotte Philcox for mentioning Felixstowe gardens which is a really nice part of the town where you can sit and look at the docks.

I also liked the article about Watch with Mother, Andy Pandy, Muffin the Mule, the Flowerpot Men, Ragtag and Bobtail and the Woodentops.
