Everyone loves a good story and what better way to while away a few hours of your journey than reading a few tales? That’s the thinking behind publisher Short Edition’s latest initiative of eight short-story vending machines dotted around commuter areas in Grenoble. The free fiction is available at the touch of a button, printing out sweet vignettes on rolls of paper, much like a till receipt and readers are able to choose from one, two, three or five-minute tales, all helping them to make the most of their ‘dead time’ on journeys.
