Vanessa is a freelance writer, journalist and novelist who has lived in south-west France with her husband since 1997. Vanessa is fascinated by French history, customs and traditions. As a writer, Vanessa has enjoyed researching and writing about France’s thriving writing scene (page 36).
Having fallen in love with France on a school exchange at the age of 12, Annaliza finally moved to coastal Brittany in 2004 and now juggles life as a mum with writing projects. This issue she meets a couple who have made a success of their luxury gîte rental business (page 30).
Ian is an author and stand-up comedian who lives in the Loire Valley and works mainly in the UK. Most of his time is spent travelling in curmudgeonly confusion between the two.
