Re­vamp for ski re­sort

The ski re­sort of Val-d’Isère in the French Alps will ben­e­fit from a €200 mil­lion re­gen­er­a­tion project over the next five years.

The re­de­vel­op­ment, which is ex­pected to be com­pleted in 2022, will cen­tre around the cen­tral Le Coin area with the cre­ation of a new shop­ping dis­trict, two four-star ho­tels, and a se­ries of res­i­den­tial prop­er­ties. The price of qual­ity new-build or ren­o­vated prop­er­ties in Val-d’Isère has risen by 18% in the past two years, reach­ing €20,000/m², ac­cord­ing to Athena Ad­vi­sors.
