A Montpellier property developer has introduced a ‘satisfaction guaranteed or your money back policy’ for buyers of apartments in a new-build complex in the city.
The scheme from property firm Roxim allows buyers of one of the 200 apartments that are currently under construction to pull out of their purchase at any time and for whatever reason, up until they get the keys, .
This option only applies to first-time buyers who are using the government’s zero-rate loans ( prêt à taux zéro). If the buyer decides to opt out of the purchase, they will still be liable for notaire fees and costs of loan guarantees ( frais de garantie).
The new measure provides an extra security net for purchasers of the off-plan property who, until they see the finished product, have only the developer’s contract and plans to go by. roxim.fr
